Overview
Sporocarps gregarious. Sporothecae ochraceous to dark brown, nodding, 0.5-0.7 mm diam. Stalk slender, up to 2 mm tall, dark, furrowed. Hypothallus brown, conspicuous. Peridial cup usually present, occupying up to 33% of the sporotheca, sometimes reduced to a basal disc. Peridial net consisting of angular nodes with projections attached to the threads, usually with 5-8 threads connecting adjacent nodes, free ends present, calcic granules, brown, small. Spore-mass ochraceous. Spores pale yellow, spinulose, 5-6 µm diam. Plasmodium greenish-brown.
