Overview
Sporocarps gregarious, erect, total height up to 2 mm. Sporotheca clay-coloured to reddish ochraceous, globose, c. 0.8 mm diam. Stalk dark brown or black, plicate, brittle. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Peridial cup very delicate, membranous, sometimes almost or completely lacking and then replaced by broad ribs with connections above, occupying 50% of the sporotheca, merging above into a net with small, thickened nodes connected by delicate threads with few or no free ends, calcic granules dark, 1-1.5 µm diam. Spore-mass clay-coloured. Spores globose or slightly angular, verruculose, pale brown, 5-6.5 µm diam. Plasmodium unknown.
