Overview
Sporocarps gregarious. Sporothecae, 0.3-0.7 mm diam., brown when empty, ochraceous when full of spores. Stalk tapered, purple-brown, up to 1.5 mm high. Hypothallus inconspicuous. Peridial net brown with large meshes. Peridial cup absent. Peridial net replaced by 8-15 distinct ribs radiating from the top of the stalk and supporting the net, sometimes with fragments of membrane connecting the basal parts of adjacent ribs. Nodes irregular, flattened, the connecting threads flattened, calcic granules small, up to 1 µm diam. Spore-mass ochraceous. Spores colourless, nearly smooth, 6-7 µm diam. Plasmodium lead-coloured.
