Overview
This is a new record of genus for the Philippines.

Identification
This ant has spongy tissue on the ventral surfaces of the petiole, postpetiole, and first gastral segment.

Geographic distribution
In the Philippines, Mt. Pangasugan, Baybay, Leyte Province, Leyte Island.
