Dorsal spines (total): 0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 25-26; Anal spines : 0; Anal soft rays : 13 - 14. Snout distinctively elongated; mouth terminal; 6-8 vertical dark bars on the flanks that are persistent throughout life-span: in life, orange to reddish body colour (Ref. 122092 ).
