Identification
Extracted from Western Bees obtained by the American Museum Expeditions by Cockerell (1921).


WYOMING: 1 C;>, Jackson, about 6300 ft. alt., among vegetation of moderately moist pasture-land type, July 14, 1920. The form without yellow spots on abdomen. N. perplexa is common in the Northern Atlantic States (Pennsylvania, for example), but I did not expect to see it from Wyoming.
