Overview |
Pristomyrmex pulcher was found for the first time in the Philippines on Camiguin Island, off northern Mindanao Island. It was previously known only from a type series in Malaysia.

Identification |
A broad short tooth present on the basal margin of the mandible.
Dorsum of petiole node with only a pair of erect hairs. The specimens from the Philippines are more pigmented than the type series from Malaysia.
