Overview
Assimilative stage a minute white phaneroplasmodium. Sporocarps scattered, stipitate, 0.1-0.75 mm tall. Stalk slender, subulate, stuffed with granular matter, brown, darker at the apex. Sporotheca globose, 75-150 µm diam. Columella absent. Peridium silvery with metallic reflections. Capillitium usually well formed, sometimes scanty, arising from the tip of the stalk, consisting of hyaline to yellowish flattened tubules, branched and anastomosed to form a network, the joints usually expanded. Spore-mass black. Spores globose to oval, purplish brown, minutely verrucose, (10-)11-12(-13) µm diam.
