FEMALE-Length 5 mm.; head and thorax
black, scutum with a faint greenish tinge, abdomen ferruginous or testaceous, becoming
fuscous apically; length of face about equal
to distance between eyes above; eyes subparallel; clypeus very short and broad, with scattered, deep and rather coarse punctures; mandibles ferruginous, with a distinct, inner, subapical tooth; antennae rather short, segments
of flagellum about as broad as long, basal segment subequal to pedicel; facial punctures fine,
but deep and distinct; lower surface of cheeks, bordering hypostome, polished and impuncate;
scutum and scutellum shining, punctures fine
but well separated, scutum with a distinct
median sulcus anteriorly; pleura, including
hypoepimeral area, finely and densely rugose;
wings subhyaline, veins testaceous, stigma
somewhat darker ; abdomen shining, without
visible punctures, apical, slightly impressed areas occupying about half of each disc.
