Overview
Sporocarps up to 2 mm high. Stalk 0.2-0.5 mm, black and shiny in reflected light, ± fibrous in the upper part. Columella dissipating just below the sporotheca apex. Capillitium dense; internal net with rather small meshes, esp. towards the periphery, threads ± sinuous, expanded in part, gradually thinner towards the periphery where the internal net merges into the surface net; the surface net nearly to quite complete, composed of very slender threads forming angular meshes lacking free ends. Spore-mass dark brown. Spores pale violet-grey by TL, very faintly warted, 5-7 µm diam.
