- We are planning Spring and Fall Natural History Surveys
in partnership with the Nature Research Center, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
These surveys will be 24-hour multi-site, multi-state events to study ants, bees, moths,
lichens, wildflowers, salamanders and other targeted groups. For details see
events. We hope that you will join us
and participate at a site near you.

- Synonyms and species names are now italicized on our species pages and cheklists.
