ADBC Proposal
|
Pollinator+ is a network of collections (see map, plus one in Alaska; see list)
that submitted a proposal to the National Science Foundation
entitled "Digitization TCN: Mobilizing collection
data to examine how environmental changes affect insect life history parameters and pollination."
Here we seek partnerships with insect collections that would like to join us.
We propose to hire and train undergraduate students from participating collections to photograph, database, and measure
specimens. If funded we will provide cameras, unique institutional barcode labels, and database services.
We will make all images and associated data publicly available and integrate them into each collection's
existing data management system.
