Meredith Little, Julia Stephens, and Ronke Olowojesiku
For our project for the Georgia Natural History survey for ECOL 3070, we will be
working on coming up with a guidebook of outlines of programs that will allow
the goals of the survey to be incorporated into education throughout the state.
The programs include but are not limited to local field trips, after
school programs, and projects for AP Biology and AP Environmental Science.

1. What Insects Come to Lights at Night?
+ Major Orders of the insects that come to lights at night (including
pictures and major characteristics of each to help people learn the bugs!)
+ Why do these insects come to lights at night??
+ Pick suggested that we add in some frogs, toads, snails etc. that are also
know to be attracted to the lights
2. How Do I Photograph Things that Come to My Light?
+ Pictures of how to take pictures at a light
+ Tips (including safety--don't look into a black light!)
+ What to bring

Our plan is to make an How to Guide to explain excel and possibly GoogleDocs
to middle and high schoolers. If time permits, we will looks at the statistics for the moth data.
