This last sample was taken from soil just adjacent to the parking lot.  Note the unusually high levels of nutrients and the unusually high pH.  This is a heavily traveled area which was much disturbed by construction at one time.  It is possible that new, fertile soil was deposited at this site for the rearing of decorative plant life. back
