I currently teach science and language arts to sixth grade students at Clarke MIddle School. I recently (December, 1997) completed my master's degree in middle school education at the University of Georgia but continue to learn from the students I teach.
My hobbies include:
I plan to initiate a study of the biodiversity of life in my own yard at home. This will help me prepare to teach students how to conduct a similar study of the CMS school grounds. I would also like to extend this biodiversity study to the eighth grade students' current study of waves and sand transport at Sapelo Island here in Georgia.
