Objectives

I am learning how to collect, identify and tag plants and insects. I am also learning how to construct a web page that other teachers can use. I am very excited about this. My principal, Dr. Robert W. Bluett, told me about this grant that was being done by Dr. John Pickering. I went to a meeting and well, as they say, the rest is history.

About me...

(I am the one on the right with the orange and green outfit.) I have been teaching elementary school for 24 years. I did my internship at the same school where I now teach, Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary. I have been working at the same school for 26 years. I am married and have one daughter. I like to rubberstamp, read, and collect cookbooks. I also love music. I like to listen to all kinds of music. I am very enthusiastic about computers. I have been very interested in computers for the past 8 years. I like getting e-mail. I have had e-mail pals as far away as the Phillipines and England.
