habitatMixed Grass Prairie
field_noteSunny, in the 70's, light wind. Used 10 blue, 10 yellow and 10 white bowls. In the mixed grass prairie of the South Unit of Badlands National Park near a wooded draw with Cornus sp. in full bloom. Willows nearby were finished blooming and choke cherry had few blooms remaining. It is possible but not likely that this sample was mixed up with BNR 163 and BNR 168.
