| field_note | Also helping collect and set traps were;Nigel John, Henry James, and Marcilene Edwards;Collections were made with 4 malaise traps, 1000 plus pan traps of florescent blue, florescent yellow, white, and yellow. The yellow pan was a salad plate the others small plastic bowls, aspirators were also used as well as general net collecting both off orchid bee baits and off flowers. Weather was humid, 80s and low 90s throughout. Rain occurred largely as later afternoon showers during two thirds of the days. Flowers were few and located only on scattered rock outcrops along the river or in the canopy. |
