| There is a large diversity of Nesticus species in caves of the southern U.S. Some species have a very limited distribution and may live in only one cave. It is unknown what species this is. Most species I have seen do appear do have eyes but I am not sure if they function. Some species appear to be truly cave adapted and do not have eyes. For more information: dspace.nitle.org/bitstream/handle/10090/8460/SnowmanCaves... Nesticus carteri has been collected and identified from this cave.
