Female tree; perianth reflexed, small; staminodes small; immature fruit green with 8-12 remnant styles; nectariferous disk very reduced; numerous exocarps and old fruits present on ground, some germinating. Wild collected in Tonga. Silica sample deposited in the BBG Lab tissue collection and at the National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) herbarium. NTBG No. 970455 002
