Tree ca. 8m tall. Male tree; perianth and disk much larger than in female flowers; petals 5-6, yellowish-green; androecium diplostemonous; disk orange; pistillode very reduced. Wild collected in Tonga. Silica sample deposited in the BBG Lab tissue collection and at the National Tropical Botanical Garden National Tropical Botanical Garden National Tropical Botanical Garden (NTBG) herbarium.
