Lithurgus apicalis - female (Megachilidae) in Colorado Springs, Palmer Park at 6600 ft (N38 52.6', W104 46.335'), El Paso County, Colorado, USA. July 31, 2007. Size: L = 13 mm. Found on Carduus nutans - Musk Thistle. Has arolia between claws. There were also Opuntia polyacantha in the area with flowers no longer blooming.
