| Bombus pensylvanicus (Apidae) in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA. August 22, 2005. Size: L = 21 mm. Center of 2thx and of T1 hairless black or nearly so. This queen was found on Monarda. Its ranges to the foot of the Rockies up to 6000 ft. Some authors spell it Bombus pennsylvanicus.
