| Bombus griseocollis (Apidae) in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA. July 15, 2005. Size: L = 22 mm. Found on Monarda. This is a species East of the Rockies at lower elevations. Black-gray; color pattern is B-NotaGbG-TergaGGBBBB. L.W.Macior (1974) found nests in the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies at an elevation of 1880 m (6150 ft). P.A.Byron (1980) found B. griseocollis at the Eastern plains.
