| Bombus sylvicola in the Colorado Rockies. Breckenridge at 9600 ft (N39° 29.331', W106° 02.836°), Summit County, Colorado, USA. August 18, 2005. Size: L = 13 mm. Found on Achillea millefolium - Yarrow. Center of 2thx and of T1T2T3T4 hairless black or nearly so. L.W.Macior (1974) found nests in the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies at elevations from 3620-4310 m (11800-14000 ft). P.A.Byron (1980) found nests at elevations 10500-12500.
