Andrena mariae? (Andrenidae) in Colorado Springs, Sonderman Park., El Paso County, Colorado, USA. June 28, 2005. Size: L = 10 mm. Found on Conium maculatum - Poison Hemlock. 2nd and 3rd cub.cell about same size;black face with white hair inside eyes and between antennae,black notum,white hair behind eyes,beside and behind propodeum; black-red T1;chestnut red T2 to apex; pyg.black triangle;black femora,red legs;white scopae;SmokyWingTips; honey-yellow wing stigma. I like to call it the "Parsley Andrena" ranging across the Northern and Rocky Mountains USA. Tergum more or less red (Lanham).
