| Arctophila flagrans, (Syrphidae) in the Colorado Rockies North of Goldfield,Teller Co. Road 81, Beaver Valley Village Junction, elevation of 10100 ft (N38.74°, W105.12°), Teller County, Colorado, July 7, 2006. Size: L = 12 mm. Found on Dugaldia hoopesii - Orange Sneezeweed. So far as I know this species is taken only on mountains above 10,000 ft.
