I can find very little information on the stone mounds of Little Mulberry Park. The Ravine Loop trail meanders through hundreds of stone mounds. They are composed of flat-bedded amphibolite: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphibolite They range from irregular low piles to beautifully constructed circular monuments. Most of the mounds have been vandalized or even destroyed. Looks like some of the mounds have been investigated by treasure hunters.

I found this article on stone mounds in general: thesga.org/wp-content/uploads/1990/11/gresham_historic_ro... At this point, no one has been able to determine the age of construction. They are generally considered to have a prehistoric origin but nothing really supports that.
