We were told by a friend that this is one of the most fun things to do in Puerto Rico. It is an aqua duct constructed in 1927-1933 through the Karst pinnacles. Some of the tunnels were up to a 1,000 feet long and completely dark inside. We traversed about two miles and through several tunnels. The water is normally clear but the day of our visit there was a very heavy thunderstorm that dumped several inches of rain. There were waterfalls pouring into the aqua duct.
