| This is a hibernating eastern pipistrelle bat. It is the most common bat encountered in caves of the southeastern U.S. These bats are easily recognized by the pinkish wing bone. I just read in Wikipedia that there is a proposed Genus change for them. For more information: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_pipistrelle
