It was a very nice winter day in north Georgia. We parked at Tray Gap and hiked about a mile on the Appalachian Trail to the summit of Tray Mountain. The peak is 4,430 feet high according to the U.S.G.S topographic map. Who the hell knows how it ranks in Georgia's highest peaks. One source says seventh and another one says eighth.
