Bear River empties into the Great Salt Lake. The delta is heavily managed into a complex of freshwater impoundments the are very important to migratory birds. My water and sediment sample site was where the duck are. The water was shallow so I was able to wade there. For more information: www.fws.gov/bearriver/index.html
