Apparently rock clubmoss has never been officially recorded for the State of Georgia. There are two literature records for the State, one of which was mine. I located the species in a remote canyon in northeast Georgia in the 1990's. On June13, 2009, I put together a group to relocate the plants and officially record it for the State of Georgia. On the way to my original site, we found a new site with eight plants. Two of the clusters are pictured here. We finally made our way to my original site only to find no plants there.
