According to Gerald Moni, the rocks exposed around Centerhill Lake are limestones and dolostones of the Ordovician age Leipers and Catheys formations. If the lake was at full pool these outcrops would be underwater. We spotted this small cave from the boat. It extended just far enough to qualify as a cave in Tennessee. The cave was full of logs, woody debris, and human produced garbage.
