This was my first visit to Congaree National Park. It is less than twenty miles from Columbia, South Carolina. There was hardly anyone at the park. It is one of the most beautiful swamps I have ever seen. I can't wait to explore more of it. For more information: www.nps.gov/cong/index.htm en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congaree_National_Park
