This is the Crystal Caverns Cave Spider. This individual is a male. The species is only known from Raccoon Mountain Caverns near Chattanooga, Tennessee. Thanks to Jerry Wallace for alerting me of the presence of the spiders and to Patty Perlaky for allowing me to take the images. The species was first collected April 14, 1938 by J.M. Valentine.
