I have identified this salamander as the southern zigzag. The complex of Plethodon dorsalis, P. ventralis, P. serratus, and P. websteri is very confusing to me. Without a DNA lab it may be extremely difficult to actually tell what is what in very northeast Georgia and adjacent Tennessee. I base my identification on the eroded and wavy reddish dorsal stripe.
