Test are still being conducted on the diseased tadpoles from Holly Creek. Ranavirus is speculated to be the cause of the mortality event. We collected filters that had stream water pumped through to see if ranavirus can be detected in the water column. We observed 10-12 dead tadpoles today in this area of the stream. We inspected several pools upstream and only found healthy bullfrog tadpoles.
