| This is a handsome stand of Canada goldenrod. Flowers of this species attract many pollinators. In this field, there are thousands of bumble bees that were lethargic because of the cool weather. Steve said when I waded into the patch, hundreds of bees took to flight. Several bees can be seen in this image.
