elevation 6,825 ft., The horned larks nest outside my fence on a couple of acres. This is the first time I have observed one to bring their baby inside my fence to feed. These 2 walked together with the baby not pecking, just the adult pecked then fed it to the baby. They did this until the baby fell asleep and the adult went on feeding.
