Female on Reseda . Kobjeglava, Kras, May 2008 (above and below).

 

Andrena nigroaenea (Kirby, 1802)

 

 

West Palaearctic species, widely distributed in Slovenia.

Polylectic species. Nests in burrows in the ground, excavated by itself. Probably communal species.

Univoltine. Flies from April to July.
