Short description Morphology | Morphometrics

Dorsal spines (total): 6 - 7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 9-10; Anal spines : 2; Anal soft rays : 12 - 13. Reddish brown pigment on the snout and cheek, clear fins, and deciduous scales (Ref. 37816 ). Two pairs of epipleural ribs, no predorsal bones, and hypurals 1-4 are fused into a double fan-shaped structure; 9+15 vertebrae. Transparent with no obvious markings (Ref. 10632 ).
