Male on Taraxacum . Pekel, Borovnica, May 2004.

 

Chelostoma florisomne (Linnaeus, 1758)

 

 

West Palaearctic species. Widely distributed in Slovenia.

Oligolectic, specialized on Ranunculus (Ranunculaceae). Nests mainly in burrows in wood. The cell partitions are made of clay and sand.

Univoltine. Flies in May and June.

 

Razširjenost vrste v Sloveniji.

V hladnejših predelih verjetno ni ogrožena.
