  • center snout - 1 cirrus
  • cirri: eye 2 very bushy, nape 2 rows
CIRRIEMBLEMARIA

TUBE-BLENNIES

Head rounded, blunt, snout with single central cirrus; 2 pairs of cirri over eye, each with numerous long, threadlike filaments (larger in male); nape with two rows of cirri; a shallow notch between spiny and soft parts of dorsal fin.

This tropical genus contains a single species, which is endemic to our region.
