Origin - Native to Eurasia.

Other info. - This attractive introduced has been recently discovered in Missouri and is so far reported in just two counties. The plant can be identified by its pink flowers and inflated fruits. The flowers are flipped upside-down (resupinate) and give the inflorescences a less globose look than most in the genus. The inflated fruits have reticulate venation.
