Members of this genus are social parasites of other spider wasps. The female Ceropales lays
her egg in the book lung of the spider prey of the host either during transport of the prey or
while the prey is lying unguarded. The Ceropales larva hatches first, devours the host egg, and
then feeds on the host prey.
