| 2003- | Systems Administrator, Polistes Foundation at the University of Georgia - Athens, GA. I have been with the Polistes Foundation since completing independent research under Dr. John Pickering in 2003. I served as the lab manager for more than two years and became his chief computer technician and systems administrator during that time. I now manage over 20 servers and workstations for this investigator, supporting all of his research endeavors through programming and hardware support for UNIX and Macintosh. During this time my skills with Perl have also become much more developed and I frequently troubleshoot code. | |
