That colony maintained itself for at least several years. One individual was captured in 2002 in nearby Bowie, Maryland and now (2007) the species seems to be regular throughout the Washington D.C. region. Observers should be on the lookout as this species spreads Identification Female has a mix of smokey white and black hairs througout the scutum as well as a having the first flagellar segment about as long as the 2nd - 5th.
