This species is known, only from the unique type; additional material may well show timberlakei to be a subspecies of it. It is interesting to note that solida falls between lutzi and typical timberlakel not only in structure but also in distribution.
Female: Similar to timberlakei solida but notches separating median from lateral lobes of clypeus deeper, so that median lobe is about as long as broad; lateral lobes correspondingly longer, so that relation of lobes to one another is not altered; cheeks broader than eyes, seen from side. Length 6 1/2 mm.
Type: Female; Mesa Verde, Colorado, in collection of the American Museum of Natural History.
