Light tan or cream colored with numerous brown spots on side; a prominent black bar or blotch on base of pectoral fin; fins often with faint brown spotting. Size: reaches 5.2 cm. Inhabits rocky shores from the intertidal zone down. Depth: intertidal to 32m. Western and NE Gulf of California. Attributes Abundance: Common. Cites: Not listed. Climate Zone: North Temperate (Californian Province &/or Northern Gulf of California); Northern Subtropical (Cortez Province + Sinaloan Gap). Depth Range Max: 32 m. Depth Range Min: 0.5 m. Diet: mobile benthic worms; mobile benthic crustacea (shrimps/crabs).
